General Description

This is one of the most beautiful butterworts we've encountered. The plant is a cultivated variety of Pinguicula zecheri x agnata. It has a tight rosette of large, broad green leaves. The leaves are very sticky and captures lots of gnats, mosquitoes, and fruit flies. The plant looks like a flower until you see it produce an actual flower. It's like a flower within a flower. Butterwortception!

Nice addition to my office at work January 7, 2019

Plant arrived in very good shape.  It is now growing nicely on my desk at work, along with a Pinguicula x Aphrodite, a Cape sundew, and a  Spoon-leaf sundew.  My own personal savage garden.  All four plants were from Sarracenia Northwest.

I normally love the packaging,  this time the plant was attached to the tape.  Even though I was very slow and careful while unwrapping,  it came out from the pot with the tape.  I carefully reinserted it,  and so far it seems fine.  New leaves have opened,  it is thriving with the other beauties I have.  all my previous purchases are happy and growing,  giving me great pleasure.   thank you.
