General Description

This cultivar is a hybrid of Pinguicula agnata and Pinguicula moctezumae. It produces long narrow succulent-like leaves that are reminiscent of both parent plants. In the right conditions, its leaves can grow up to 10 inches long! It also has a flower with a delicate shade of lavender whose beauty is unsurpassed. This plant grows vigorously for the first-time grower. Grow this plant in a sunny south window.

I received a healthy plant and it is already producing new leaves and catching fungus gnats.

I'm super pleased with my plant. Trying to remove the packaging almost obliterated her, but fortunately, she was resilient and made it through our rough beginning with flying colors. She's a super beauty and has been capturing her snacks efficiently. I have a lot less soil gnats this summer than I did before she showed up. I had no idea carnivores don't have to look like a Venus fly trap or a pitcher. I would love to have more Pinguiculas!
