General Description

The spoon leaf sundew, Drosera spatulata, is definitely demure in nature. When full grown, it is just under 2 inches in diameter, but it can reproduce itself by sending out shoots, producing a mound of multiple plants with spoon-shaped leaves.

Like a pet rock, the spoon leaf sundew can keep you company when you're at work, making dinner, or enjoying a stroll through the park. With the right care, your plant will produce lovely pink flowers for you. This is a great plant for the first time grower.

I ordered my plant on sale less than two months ago. It arrived in perfect condition and already has nearly outgrown its 3-inch pot.

Arrived in perfect condition and still looks stunning. I would trust these people to ship me an actual human baby and expect it to be perfectly healthy and unharmed by the time it arrived at my door.

First time buyer February 12, 2017

My boyfriend and I were interested in beginning a carnivorous plant garden and figured we should start with something easy.  The shipping got a little hung up in the mail but even with the delay the plants still looked great.  After a week I realized our plants weren't getting enough light in the window of our apartment so we got a small lamp with the fluorescent lighting as they recommended in the pamphlet and we are excited to announce our plant caught it's first snack the other day and is in the process of curling up around it :)

The d. Spathulata arrived very healthy and there wasn't just one plant, but there was a whole mound of sundews! The packaging was very nice and the instructions that came are helpful to beginners. I highly recommend Sarracenia NW and their plants.
