General Care

Type of Plant: Tropical butterwort for windowsill growing.
Native Habitat: Mountains of Mexico.
Sunlight: Very bright filtered sun to dappled sun.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).  Set in water to keep the soil wet.
Soil: One part peat moss and two parts perlite.  No garden soil, compost, or fertilizer.
Temperatures: Prefers mild temperatures but always protect from frost.

Care info will be provided.

All forms of Pinguicula agnata have thick succulent-like leaves. The red leaf form, however, has wider leaves that remain closer to the soil. Because it produces copious amounts of dew, it glistens excitedly in bright sunlight.
