Nepenthes [(lowii x veitchii) x tiveyi] x platychila (#1)

This plant was from a batch of N. [(lowii x veitchii) x (maxima x veitchii)] x platychila grown from seed and bred by the fine folks at Exotica Plants in Australia. Pitchers from this cross produce very colorful pitchers and peristomes of varying shapes and colors. This clone is one of two that we selected to be part of our regular inventory. It features a wide, colorful peristome heavily influenced by its platychila genetics.

Type of Plant: Tropical pitcher plant for indoor growing.
Pitcher Size: Up to 8 inches.
Sunlight: Partial sun.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts dried sphagnum moss and perlite only.
Temperatures: Above 70°F during the day; 55°-70°F during the night. Always protect from frost.
