Green Monster
Plant came in December, well packed, and with healthy looking traps.
Green Monster is a cross of the all-green Sarracenia leucophylla and all-green Sarracenia minor; the plant has no red pigment at all. Its pitchers have white spots, a pointed spout, and an umbrella-like hood. Although it grows very slowly at our nursery in Oregon, growers who experience hot, muggy summers with long growing seasons report that Green Monster grows very quickly for them.

General Care

Sunlight: Full sun, 6+ hours of direct sunlight, during the growing season.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less). Set in standing water to keep media wet.
Soil: Equal parts peat moss and perlite. No garden soil, compost, or fertilizer.
Winter: Dormant. Mulch in USDA zones 6 or colder.
