This complex hybrid, Nepenthes (northiana x maxima) x (rafflesiana x veitchii), grows amazingly well as a houseplant. It does require quite a fair amount of sunlight and a lot of space to accommodate its long vines, but the effort in growing this plant is well worth it. Its pitchers are large with a very thick, colorful, eye-catching peristome. Its leaves can approach 18 inches. Its pitchers can get just as long.
