Though Heliamphora is generally regarded as a plant for the experienced grower, this hybrid is the easiest of the bunch. Adult specimens will produce pitchers 4-8 inches tall. The pitchers have a distinct flare with a red margin and reddish hue in the upper interior. Look for flowers in late winter and early spring. FOR THE EXPERIENCED GROWER.

General Care
Type of Plant: Tropical pitcher plant for windowsill growing.
Native Habitat: Flat mountain tops of Venezuela.
Sunlight: Partial to full sun.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less). Allow water to drain through.
Soil: Equal parts dried sphagnum moss and perlite. No garden soil, compost, or fertilizer.
Temperatures: Mild day temperatures. Avoid excessive heat and scorching sunlight. Nighttime temperature of 50°-65°F is recommended. Always protect from frost.
Best for the experienced grower.

Extremely healthy plant
Wow this plant is bigger than expected and gorgeous! Packed with care, and has already grown 3 new pitchers from two growth points in the 2 weeks I've had it.

Outstanding
Honestly pretty amazing, for the price I was expecting a small plant with its first or second mature pitcher and a few juveniles around the crown, but I got a legitimate, large mature plant. It came with two mature pitchers about 4 inches tall and absolutely healthy, and a new pitcher has started emerging. Shipping was fast and everything shipped successfully with zero damage due to expert packaging. Always impressed.

Had one....but Greedy and I wanted another one
This is another one of those great looking plants that you just can not pass by with out admiring more of it. I am sure that the insects will feel the same. As they say "Beauty over the Beast" or maybe it was over the "Bugs".

Lost a leaf, but grows
After a week of the arrival, a leaf turned brown, but the plant is growing good. The temperature outside was 20F, but the plants weren't cold, since it was shipped with a heating pack.
