This particular variety of spoon leaf sundew is native to Fraser Island, a small island off of the eastern Australian coast. Like the typical variety, the Fraser Island variety will form clumps of plants. However, it differs from the typical variety in that it produces slightly shorter leaves and white flowers. Its leaves also turn very red when grown in full sun. This plant prefers warmer temperatures and brighter sunlight than the typical form.
